For the Australian Open, we expanded the lens on tennis by positioning it not only as a performance sport, but as an aspirational lifestyle rooted in place and culture. Drawing inspiration from Australia’s outdoor, coastal way of life, we opened the product aperture beyond on-court performance to include vintage fleece heritage sweatshirts, relaxed linen shirts, floral printed boardshorts, and salt-washed tees—pieces designed to move seamlessly from the match to everyday wear. The art direction reinforced this shift with a restrained, elevated studio environment that felt artful and fashion-forward, aligning with a more editorial sensibility seen in contemporary brands. This holistic lifestyle approach transformed the event from a technical moment into a cultural one, resulting in a +76% increase versus the prior year’s performance-only assortment.
