ANVE SWIM
Anne Swim began as a passion-driven, entrepreneurial response to a clear gap in the market: swimwear that allowed women to surf with confidence while still feeling undeniably feminine. I was frustrated by suits that stretched out, faded, or lost their integrity after a single summer, and by the environmental cost of products designed to be disposable. From the outset, we took a fabric-first approach—sourcing regenerated nylon made from recycled ghost fishing nets—ensuring durability, performance, and a reduced environmental footprint. Production was thoughtfully aligned with our values, partnering with a female-led factory in Bali that reinvested in and provided meaningful income to local women, strengthening the very communities behind the product.

Equally important was building more than a brand—we set out to cultivate a global community. Anne Swim was rooted in the belief that the surf world could be a more positive, supportive space for women, and we intentionally developed a network of female ambassadors who championed confidence, camaraderie, and shared progression in the water. That same spirit extended to our creative execution, collaborating with emerging female photographers around the world and often capturing imagery myself—including drone photography—to ensure the storytelling felt intimate, authentic, and reflective of the women we were designing for.
